Job Description
The Group Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy and managing a team of marketing professionals across multiple divisions or product lines. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing principles, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments. The ideal candidate will be able to create and implement marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and resonate with our target audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports the company’s business objectives and goals.
- Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, events, and traditional advertising.
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate new ideas into marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies to enhance marketing capabilities.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion, customer engagement, and business growth through innovative marketing approaches.
- Represent the marketing team in executive meetings and provide regular reports on marketing performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading a team of marketing professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and software, including marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Experience with digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and other modern marketing techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
